What does the ODXUA do ?
The ODXUA organises a variety of activities which are highlighted by
members or the ODXUA committee as areas of interest. These range from Voice Mail
equipment presentations, through manufacturing site tours to workshop activities with
extensive user involvement. The ODXUA holds about five main meetings each year and has
additional special interest meetings as appropriate.
Why should I join ?
The reasons for you to join the ODXUA differ depending on your own
business situation, but the ODXUA can promise an opportunity to raise issues with experts
who would not be available to an individual user. You will also be able to discuss
problems with other members who may already have resolved them and take the opportunity to
talk to the users who run initial field trials of the latest features. Many such companies
are active members of the association and their experience may help you in bringing new
technology into your own company.
What does The ODXUA offer?
The ODXUA provides the forum in which you can broaden your knowledge of
Openscape / HiPath8000 / iSDX / Realitis DX / HiPath DX / ProCentre and general telecommunications areas at minimal cost in a friendly
co-operative group.
Where are meetings held ?
The ODXUA uses a variety of venues, mainly in London and the Midlands.
What if I can't spare the time to attend
meetings ?
Even if you cannot spare the time to attend all the meetings, joining
the ODXUA will still be of great benefit and value to you, because minutes and a
synopsis of all presentations from all meetings are posted to all members. The
information they contain will undoubtedly justify the cost of membership.
How do I join ?
To join the ODXUA simply call or write to the DX Users Association
administrative office, click here for address and contact
details. An information pack will be sent promptly, including the date and venue for the
next meeting. You would be welcome to attend without obligation.
Fees
Fees are £150 per year
for each full year of individual membership - membership taken up before
the start of the membership year in April is free of charge.
Many larger organisations find multiple memberships
worthwhile. Members are welcome to bring a guest to meetings.
